Paleo Chocolate Cherry Cobbler

INGREDIENTS

For Filling

  • 3 cups cherries pitted
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp cassava flour
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil melted

For Topping

  • 1/2 cup Cassava flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/3 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds (omit for nut free)
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease a nine-inch baking dish (or similar) with coconut oil.

  2. Mix together cherries, melted coconut oil, and coconut sugar. Pour into the prepared baking dish.

  3. Mix together all of the topping ingredients in a large bowl with a fork until crumbly and well combined. Pour evenly over the cherries in the baking dish.

  4. Bake for 35-45 minutes, until the cherries are bubbly and the topping is crisp.

  5. Allow to cool for a few minutes and then serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped coconut cream!
