Baked Spiced Apples and Cranberries

These healthy, gluten-free baked apples and cranberries are syrupy and sweet despite being healthy and naturally sweetened. The perfect healthy baked fruit treat!

INGREDIENTS

  • 7-8 apples peeled and sliced
  • 1.5 cups cranberries
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Toss all ingredients in a large bowl until combined. Grease a 9-inch baking dish and layer the apple mixture inside. Place on top of a baking sheet to catch any overflow.
  3. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until fruit is soft and syrupy.
  4. Cool for at least 15 minutes, then serve and enjoy!
